Abstract
Nikel(0) cyclopropene complexes are usually only detected as reactive inter mediates during the oxidative cyclization of cyclopropenes at the Ni(0) sit e. In contrast, it was possible to isolate and structurally characterize su ch a Ni(0) cyclopropene complex: from the reaction of [(bipy)Ni(COD)] with dimethyl 3-methyl-3-tert-butyl-1-cyclopropene-1,2-dicarboxylate.
