Abstract
This paper is a short biography of Galen that lived during the of reign Adr ianus, between the years 129 and 216 AD. Satirus, Estratonicus and Escrion were his makers and he lived in Alexandria, Pergamus and Rome. He had diffi cult relationships with his contemporary colleagues due to his revolutionar y medical concepts, but had important contributions to the knowledge of med icine.
