The paper presents a tool for electrothermal simulations and very fast mode
lling active heat sinks. The tool is based on a special electrothermal mode
l of an active heat sink and makes use of the electronic circuit simulator
SPICE. By its means one can find values of electrical current supplying a t
hermo-electric device so as to change temperature of a cooled object accord
ing to a given algorithm. The electrothermal model of an active heat sink,
way of calculating control functions of a Peltier device supplying electric
al current and examples of simulations are shown.
