Photochemical pattern transfer and patterning of continuous zeolite films on glass by direct dipping in synthesis gel

Reliable methods of patterning thin zeolite films on various supports, such as the versatile photochemical method introduced here, will lead to a brea kthrough in applications, e.g., as combinatorial catalysts. The Figure show s an SEM image of a glass plate patterned directly with a continuous film o f the zeolite ZSM-5 by dipping the plate in the synthesis gel, a technique also reported here.
