Abstract
Ectopic localisation of the pancreas is not an uncommon entity, but it is m ostly seen in the gastrointestinal tract. Herein we report a 45-year-old wo man with a cyst containing pancreatic tissue in the mediastinum. The Englis h literature reveals only three previous cases of this extremely rare local isation of the pancreas. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved .
