A. Bauchet et al., First identification of rotational bands in Tc-103: Evolution of intrinsicproton states of the Tc-97-105(43) isotopes, EUR PHY J A, 10(2), 2001, pp. 145-150
High-spin states of Tc-103(43) have been identified for the first time, thi
s nucleus being produced as fission fragment following the fusion reaction
Cl-37 + Yb-176 at 170 MeV bombarding energy. The high-spin level scheme has
been built from the prompt gamma rays detected using the Euroball III arra
y. It exhibits similarities with those of tile neighbouring: isotopes and i
sotones. All the band head configurations observed in the Tc97-105 isotopes
are identified front the behaviour of the rotational bands built on them.
The single-proton states located around the Fermi level are discussed as a
function of deformation of these nuclei.
