Abstract
Multibaseline methods have been recently proposed to reduce problems of pha se ambiguity arid data noise in SAR interferometry for topographic mapping, Both phase-only interferometry and direct processing oi the complex multib aseline data have been considered. In this paper, two non-model based multi baseline estimators and two recently proposed model based algorithms are di scussed and compared in terms of statistical accuracy of the reduced-ambigu ity phase estimate. it is shown that rnodel-based processing of the complex multibaseline data can be significantly more efficient than the other meth ods.
