Abstract
Major advances in the field of skull base surgery have increased survi val and lowered complication rates. Despite these developments, skull base surgery is exceedingly challenging and complications are devastat ing. Based on review of til patients undergoing transfacial approaches for resection of skull base tumors, common complications and their so lutions are presented.
