BACKGROUND: Arteriovenous malformations ave composed of large, tortuous art
eries and misshapen, veinlike structures. They are extremely uncommon in th
e genital tract.
CASE: An arteriovenous malformation in a Bartholin gland presented as inter
mittent vaginal bleeding in a 43-year-old woman.
CONCLUSION: Persistent unexplained bleeding from Bartholin's gland requires
