Abstract
Phytochemistry investigation of the whole plants of Serratula strangulata h as led to the isolation of two sesquiterpenes, six flavonoids, and two isof lavonoids. Among these, a sesquiterpene and two flavonoids are new compound s. The structures of these new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic m ethods and 2D NMR techniques.
