Abstract
In this paper, a novel high-order method-of-moments solution of the electri c-and magnetic-field integral equations is presented. It is shown that, aft er choosing a smooth set of basis and testing functions, a simple transform ation can be performed rendering a point-based discretization of the integr al equation at discrete quadrature points. Through numerical studies, it is shown that the proposed method results in exponential error convergence of the RCS for smooth three-dimensional scattering structures. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
