Abstract
A new compact dual-band dual-polarized microstrip antenna is presented. Thi s antenna resonates at two frequencies with different polarizations: a line arly polarized one for terrestrial communication, and a circularly polarize d one for satellite mobile communication. This antenna also provides an are a reduction of 70% compared to a standard rectangular patch antenna. (C) 20 01 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
