Abstract
This paper presents an efficient reconstruction algorithm for three-dimensi onal scattering objects. The algorithm is an extension of previous work for the two-dimensional one, and is based on an optimization procedure. From t he computer simulations, the proposed method is shown to yield satisfactory results, and to not be so sensible to the presence of noise. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
