Abstract
A 6-year-old girl with a primary cutaneous form of Mycobacterium kansasii i nfection is presented. Disseminated infection and immune deficiency were ex cluded in our patient, She was successfully treated with surgical excision and oral erythromycin, Primary cutaneous M. kansasii is an exceedingly rare infection in children.
