Abstract
The influence of N-substitution and S-oxidation upon the electrochemical el ectron-transfer processes of 16H,18H-dibenzo[c,l]-7,9-dithia-16,18-diazapen tacene (1) was investigated using N-acetylated, N-benzoylated and S,S-dioxi dized (1)-derivatives. The substituent influence determined important chang es in the pattern of the cyclic voltammetry curves, as compared to the pare nt compound.
