Abstract
We present the results of using normalized correlation functions in photoac oustic signal analysis, as a function of temperature. This analysis permits the determination of the structural phase transitions and the thermal stab ility of the material. As examples, we applied the correlation analysis tec hnique to the Pb0.88Sm0.88TiO3 ceramic and the Zn-2lAl-5Cu metallic alloy.
