Abstract
Aortoesophageal fistula due to an aortic arch aneurysm is a rare entity wit h an extremely high mortality. There are few reports of successfully manage d cases and even fewer of long term survival. We report a case of an aortoe sophageal fistula resulting from a mycotic pseudoaneurysm of the distal aor tic arch in a patient with melioidosis, its surgical management, and outcom e.
