TYROSINE KINASE EXPRESSION PROFILE IN BLADDER-CANCER

The expression pattern of tyrosine kinase in bladder cancel cells was evaluated by PCR amplification with degenerate primers derived from co nserved catalytic domain in tyrosine kinase. The results indicated tha t TRK-E and Arg kinases were more abundantly expressed than several ot her kinases in bladder cancer In addition, we identified a novel clone whose sequence could not be matched in Gene Bank. This clone may repr esent a seline/threonine kinase based on sequence similarity.
