Abstract
The first record of a Kokanee Salmon, Oncorhynchus nerka. the non-anadromou s form of Sockeye Salmon, from the Northwest Territories is reported. The s pecimen was captured in Great Slave Lake near Hardesty island (61 degrees 4 4 'N, 114 degrees 37 'W) in the commercial fishery in 1991.
