Abstract
This note describes the major findings and recommendations of the Conf erence on Truck Safety: Perceptions and Reality, held in Toronto from September 11 to 13, 1995. The Conference adopted a consensus-based, mu lti-stakeholder approach to identify key issues affecting truck safety and develop recommendations as to bow these issues should be resolved .
