T. Feurer et al., Control of the photodissociation process of CsCl using a feedback-controlled self-learning fs-laser system, CHEM PHYS, 267(1-3), 2001, pp. 223-229
The time-resolved photoinduced dissociation process of a diatomic molecule
(CsCl) was investigated both theoretically and experimentally. It is shown
that by applying a sequence of two different laser pulses the dissociation
process may be controlled, according to the Tanner-Rice scheme. Using feedb
ack-controled optimization algorithms a self-learning system has been reali
zed, which is able to control the product channel without a priori knowledg
e on the molecular potential surfaces. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Scien
