Ndr. Sarma et al., REAL-TIME SERVICE RESTORATION IN DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS - A PRACTICAL APPROACH, IEEE transactions on power delivery, 9(4), 1994, pp. 2064-2070
This paper presents a methodology for determination of a best set of s
ervice restoration strategies for affected load points due to a fault
in a distribution network. The method is based on minimum number of sw
itching operations, minimum losses and adherence to the voltage & curr
ent constraints. Schemes are also discussed for automatic identificati
on of affected load points and non-restorable load points. Where resto
ration is not possible satisfying voltage and current constraints, a s
cheme for load shedding is also suggested considering priorities of lo
ads.
