Abstract
The gimbal angles of a CMG system can deviate from their nominal values due to external disturbances. This causes control constraints during attitude manoeuvres and increaser the risk of encountering singularities. The author s present a new method to compensate for this gimbal angle offset using a m agnetic control law.
