Selective fetocide in twin pregnancies: A discussion of two cases and review of the literature

In twin gestations in which one twin has an anomaly, selective fetocide of the affected twin is an option. We report on two such pregnancies in which selective fetocide was discussed (but not performed) and review the pertine nt literature. If selective fetocide is considered, pediatric and other rel evant specialist consultation and psychological counseling should be sought . Such cases should be managed in perinatal centers.
