Abstract
Polarization synthesizing is introduced into a Bragg grating based optical fiber transversal filter to realize incoherent operation. High birefringenc e fiber Bragg gratings are used to produce an optical transversal filter wi th tunable microwave frequency response and large free spectral range immun e to optical coherent noise.
