Abstract
In this paper we continue our study, begun in [12], of the relationships be tween Mn arbitrary operator T on Hilbert space and its Aluthge transform (T ) over tilde. In particular, are shaw that in most cases the spectral pictu re of T coincides with that of (T) over tilde, and we obtain some interesti ng connections between T and (T) over tilde as a consequence.
