Abstract
To provide effective counseling services to Filipino youth from primar y school to college, it is imperative to understand the components of traditional Filipino culture. This article provides a psychocultural p rofile for persons of Filipino ancestry, discusses the implications of these cultural factors, and presents suggestions for counseling this diverse population.
