Abstract
We present the fundamentals of the analysis technique for a helicopter land ing with a skid landing gear which takes into account all necessary design features of this landing gear type and the present-day requirements of the standard documents as to its design. We compare the analytical results with the experimental data and results obtained using other techniques.
