Characteristic polynomial for fifth order control systems minimizing the quadratic performance criterion of generalized form

We developed the algorithms for calculating the characteristics polynomial coefficients such that the quadratic criterion of performance is at a minim um; the function of the criterion is to inhibit in the course of control an y significant deviations of both the controlled variable and its derivative s up to the fourth-order inclusive. The results can be used to solve a numb er of problems about synthesis of FV control systems if the placement of ze roes in transfer functions of controlled variable is taken into account.
