Abstract
Electrohydrodynamic induction pumping of a stratified liquid/vapor medium i s quantitatively assessed utilizing Laser Doppler Anemometry. Data are pres ented suggesting that pumping is due to both interfacial and bulk effects. Values of turbulence intensity associated with this type of flow are briefl y discussed for the various cases studied.
