Abstract
1-[(2-Pinen-10-yl)oxy]-3,7-dimethyl-2(E),6-octadiene (1). 1-(2 ' -isopropyl -5 ' -methylcyclohexyloxy)-3,7-dimethyl-2(E),6-octadiene (2) and their anal ogues have been synthesised and the compounds tested on Culex pipiens quinq uefasciatus Say. for their juvenile hormone activity.
