Abstract
Malignant lymphoma compression of the cauda equina is rare. In the literatu re only a few caves have been described with occasional long term survivors . We report another case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, presenting with cauda e quina compression. Significant palliation and long-term survival were achie ved after therapy by decompressive, cytoreductive surgery; local irradiatio n: and chemotherapy.
