The structure and properties of thin polycyclohexadiene films thermall
y deposited in vacuum were studied. The method of pyrolytic mass spect
rometry showed that vacuum-deposited polymer films comprised oligomeri
c products of thermal decomposition of polycyclohexadiene having molec
ular mass similar to 500. The morphology of the films strongly depende
d on the temperature of substrate.
