Abstract
The dynamics of changes in the phase composition and structure of poly (vinyltrimethylsilane) interacting with CCl4, CHCl3, CH2Cl2 chlorometh anes in the gas phase was studied by X-ray diffraction analysis, Durin g the process, a new phase was formed in the material, representing a true solution of a low-molecular-weight substance in the polymer. The diffraction maximum of the compound corresponds to a periodicity of 2, 5 Angstrom, while its intensity depends on the type and concentration of chloromethane in the system. It was found that the sorption ability of polymer depends on the chlorine content in dissolved substance.
