Abstract
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most frequently diag nosed childhood psychiatric disorder. Many children with ADHD continue to e xhibit its symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity as adult s and require treatment throughout their life span. There are standard meas ures and techniques available to evaluate children and adults for ADHD. Pha rmacotherapy is highly effective in treating ADHD. Behavioral and psychosoc ial intervention can also address symptoms and comorbid disorders for indiv iduals with ADHD.
