Abstract
Surgical treatment of the frontal sinus continues to be an area of much int erest and controversy. The complex anatomy and confined space of this regio n require the endoscopic surgeon to be knowledgeable and delicate to obtain a positive result. proper instrumentation is crucial and continues to evol ve over time. Postoperative endoscopic care is integral to the success of e ndoscopic frontal sinusotomy and the availability of proper office equipmen t to perform this care is critical. In most instances, the intranasal endos copic approach can be accomplished successfully without the need for an ext ernal procedure.
