Phase sensitive phenomena in Andreev interferometer

We report on the experimental study of the phase periodic resistance oscill ations in an Andreev-type interferometer consisting of a mesoscopic normal metal ring (Ag) connected to a superconductor (Al). We observe a spectacula r modulation of the oscillations due to an interplay of the phase transfer from the superconducting condensate to quasiparticles and interference phen omena in the normal ring.
