Abstract
Effects of fast neutron irradiation on the atomic disordering and amorphiza tion of some model ordered alloys and compounds are considered. An analysis of experimental data makes it possible to formulate some general concepts about the structural state of crystals and the origin of neutron-irradiatio n effects in crystals or this class.
