Abstract
A case of intracranial metastatic adenoid cystic carcinoma with unusua l hyperdense nodules in CT scans is described. A 32-year-old man had a brain tumor containing scattered and very hyperdense numerous nodules on CT scans. Initially, the hyperdense nodules were considered as int ratumoral calcifications, The tumor subsequently proved to be metastat ic adenoid cystic carcinoma through surgery. However, there were no ca lcium deposits in the surgical specimen. We observed only multiple cen tral comedo-necrosis that could be the cause of the hyperdense lesions on CT scans.
