Abstract
A method is suggested for analytical determination of the optimum structure for highly porous material according to the criterion of minimum deformati on stress. It is shown that calculation by the minimum stress criterion mak es is possible to obtain in the optimum structural state a lower damping st ress with greater work for deformation. Calculations are in good agreement with experimental results.
