We present and discuss JHKLM photometry for five long-period binaries (VV C
ep, ZZ CMI, WY Gem, epsilon Aur, acid zeta Aur). The IR radiation from WY G
em may contain a component with a period of similar to 430 days, attributab
le to temperature pulsations of an M supergiant. The 3.5- and 5-mum radiati
on from the eclipsing binary E Aur outside the eclipse exhibits excess (rel
ative to the light from an F supergiant) fluxes which correspond to the emi
ssion from a cool source with a temperature of similar to 1000 K. For the e
clipsing binary E Aur, we present the hitherto unpublished results of our o
ptical and IR photometry during 1982-1985, when a primary eclipse was obser
ved in the system. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
