Abstract
The first record of gravid salmon Lice from a non-salmonid host is reported . Five out of twelve saithe (Pollachius virens) from inside salmon farm pen s were infected with L. salmonis. Both gravid females and larval stages (ch alimus) were present. These findings have implications for the control of s almon lice in farm situations.
