Abstract
The polymer [Ni-2(C4N2H3S)(4)](n) with excellent electrical conductivity an d ferromagnetic interaction between the nickel(ii) centers has been prepare d by the hydrothermal reaction of Ni(O2CMe)(2) with pyrimidine-2-thiol in D MF-H2O; X-ray diffraction shows that the polymer possesses a lamellar struc ture formed from the conjunction system of pyrimidine rings and Ni(ii) cent ers.
