Abstract
Economic evaluation of health care interventions is becoming increasingly i mportant as the demand for services increases. For unexplained infertility, in-vitro fertilization is not a cost-effective first-line treatment option compared with ovarian stimulation and intrauterine insemination. In clomip hene citrate-resistant polycystic ovarian syndrome, in-vitro fertilization may be cost-effective. 2000 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
