Abstract
A survey was conducted among bone marrow transplant (BMT) units in Argentin a to obtain baseline information on the methods of hematopoietic cell harve sting processing; cryopreservation, and storage. Of 14 centers contacted, 1 3 completed a questionnaire addressing different aspects of cell manipulati on for transplantation. Although technical variations were noted for almost all methodological aspects, they represent areas of ongoing revision that await regulatory standardization as proposed by ISHAGE.
