Three new mu -oxalato dinuclear copper(II) complexes [L(H2O)CuOxCu(H2O)L](C
lO4)(2) [L = 4-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine (aem), (1), 1-(2-aminoethyl)piperid
ine (ampp), (2) and 1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrrolidine (ampy), (3)1] have been syn
thesized and characterized by X-ray single crystal analysis (1), IR, therma
l analysis and magnetic measurements. Low temperature magnetic measurements
of these complexes show the existence of strong antiferromagnetic interact
ion between the copper(II) ions.
