Abstract
CBA/J male mice with chronic Schistosoma mansoni infections display either moderate splenomegaly syndrome (MSS) or hypersplenomegaly syndrome (HSS). A s MSS and HSS mice differ in several immunologic characteristics, we invest igated T-cell receptor V beta usage. The groups had significantly different expression of several V betas, suggesting a relationship between the T-cel l repertoire and schistosomiasis pathology.
