Abstract
Egg production by three species of Pardosa was studied over a 3-year period in a grassland, a fallow field, and a meadow in Northumberland (England). Differences in egg production were found to be related to the size of the f emale spiders and habitat structures. Influence of localities and egg produ ction in subsequent years are discussed.
