Abstract
The studied collection of Symphypleona, Collembola from Israel contains a t otal of 30 taxa, all but one new to Israel. Seven species (Deuterosminthuru s kugleri, Dicyrtomina nigra, Gisinurus orenensis, Sminthurinus lineatus, S . pullus, S. quadratus, Sphaeridia superstes) and one genus and species (Or enius parvus) new to science are described.
