Abstract
To meet the demands of future regulations, water utilities will need to ant icipate and strategically plan for future regulatory requirements. Regulato ry trends for 2000 and beyond are reviewed so that water utilities may achi eve compliance within required time frames. This article is JOURNAL AWWA's annual review of the US Environmental protection Agency's drinking water re gulatory agenda under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
